Coach Daris was born and raised in Carolina, Puerto Rico, where she began her volleyball career. In 1998, she started playing for Lomanview Volleyball Club and Carolina Baptist Academy in Carolina, PR. From 2001-2005, she was selected to play professional volleyball with the Gigantes de Carolina in the Female Superior Volleyball League in Puerto Rico. In addition, she also played as a middle for the Puerto Rico National Team during that same time!
Coach Daris went on to be an All American at both Lakeland Community College and Lynn University, where she was awarded the 2009 Athlete of the Year. She graduated in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and she continued her education at Springfield College, earning a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling.
Coach Daris has been coaching volleyball since 2015, having immense success with previous teams that she has worked with. She has a vast skill set, extensive knowledge, and excellent work ethic, which she works hard to instill in all of our athletes, to help them achieve their maximum potential and ensure success in every individual player and team. Daris is dedicated to teaching volleyball at an elite level, and her contributions to Dynamite Volleyball Club have been unsurpassed.
