Victor De Leon

Club Director

Coach Victor was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. His volleyball career began at age 10, where he played for 5 years at Avoli Volleyball Club in Toa Baja, PR. He also played on the Varsity team for all 4 years of high school at Levittown Baptist Academy, was the captain of his team and helped take the team to the district playoffs all four years, playing both outside and middle.
After moving to the US, Coach Victor then played as an outside hitter for the University of South Florida’s Men's Volleyball Club, where in his Junior and Senior years, they placed in the top 10 teams in the nation at the National Collegiate Volleyball Federation (NCVF) Nationals Tournament. He graduated from USF in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in health science and a minor in exercise science, and is now a Licensed Real Estate Agent. Now Coach Victor is the Head Coach for the JV and Assistant Coach to the Varsity volleyball team at Carrollwood Day High School.
Coach Victor has a lifelong passion and love for the sport of volleyball, and his extensive knowledge, experience and understanding of the game, make him a great asset to Dynamite Volleyball Club. He is committed to providing an environment of teamwork, leadership, and discipline for all players, regardless of their skill level. He provides our athletes with a modernized approach to the game, and ensures that our players gain the knowledge and understanding they need to be successful, all while instilling in them a pure love and passion for the game.
